Who are we? Thanks for the opportunity to introduce ourselves.
Freestone is an Alberta-based communications and public relations company that works with organizations and individuals to reach and influence the audiences that matter most.
In nature, a freestone is a rock that can be quarried or shaped without cracking or breaking. In business, the Freestone Communications philosophy is no different. We work with clients to shape their communications, PR and marketing and ensure nothing cracks or breaks.

Freestone is powered by Jennifer Fisk, a communications professional with 20 years of experience and a knack for understanding and managing the perceptions and expectations of the public, community and other stakeholders. Jennifer subscribes to the belief that in order to understand the community, you need to be an active part of it. As such, she is currently on the Board of Directors for the 4-H Foundation. In the past, Jennifer has served as Co-Chair of the Edmonton Food Council, and was on the Board of Directors for Northlands, Valour Place, the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights, Live Local, the Edmonton Downtown Farmers’ Market Association, and Credit Counselling Services of Alberta. She holds an undergraduate and graduate degree in Political Science from the University of Alberta.
For her community and professional achievements, Jennifer was honoured to be selected one of Avenue Magazine Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2011.
